Brilliant start there! I like the way you're telling a plot within a plot! And the reactions of the characters are perfect! I'm really looking forward to seeing where this goes!

I love the feeling of everyone sitting around for the story being retold - I, too, look forward to more! :)

Clever little story. Lots of geekery all around. Heh, and the Resident Scholar award. You should try to slip this into the Plot. Maybe Plot 15l. I wouldn't want it to get lost in the morass of time.

Soon...-ish.

I just needed a break to recharge.
Since Christmas I've been obsessed with toy trains.

Just the other day I knocked out a small bit for plot 16 that
General Horn has previewed. It needs an opening scene.

I'll polish that up and get back to the big guy.

Excellent stuff! Talk about curve balls flying all over the damned place! Just when I think I know where it's going... you spin it again! Great read!

Great continuation to your thoroughly humorous and entertaining tale, Piggy. You do quite well in depicting our characters. We seriously need a place to post all of these side stories and back stories that we've written during Plot 15 and 16. I don't want them getting lost or forgotten about and not read as part of the whole Plot compendium down the road.

Back to plot 16.

Wonderful end! Loved the action sequences, as well as the intricate details of the more 'mundane' aspects. You really paint a complete picture. Also, I really liked the Epilogue. Perfectly poignant!

Gripping tale, Piggy! You pulled a lot of detail into the stories of those oppressed under Imperial leadership and made a very complete picture. Seems like you were inspired by a large number of true-to-life earth stories and perhaps some personal experiences. I really do like reading these stories about the heroic exploits of "everyday" people in the galaxy.

That's good stuff, Piggy! I've read the whole thing now and I have to say I really like the "story-telling" mode you used. You did a good job of balancing between the way most of us tell stories and a more typical narrative fiction style, and flowing them together. It was easy for me to get a sense of both Voort's emotional responses and his calculating methodology. I'll echo Face in saying that the detail you put into all the passages really makes it come alive.

Again, great work!
