Rogues and Wraiths, it give me great pleasure to introduce you to the latest member of RS. Well, in a bit...

Image

Cathy is now 13 weeks pregnant with the future Wraith. Everything’s going well so far (although Cathy has really been suffering from morning sickness). The nurse said that everything appears to be going smoothly, and we can expect the new arrival on 5th November!

As you can imagine, we’re both rather pleased!

(All three pics can be seen at my Picasa album!)

Woohoo! Congrats to the three of you, Faceman! Now you'll have to bring the progeny along on your next visit so the Rogue/Wraith children can join forces to take over the galaxy. ;)

Woohoo! Oh that's smashing news, Face! I'm so happy for you and Cathy.

Like everyone else, I hope the morning sickness subsides soon.

You going to try attempting to give the little one a Star Wars-related name of some kind?

If it's a girl, she'll be called Jayna! Spelt different, but yes, it is after Jaina Solo!

Haha- spoken like a true nerd! Congratulations, Face!

Would a male child be Jayson? :)

Just make sure that you nurture your child well; you don't want to raise a Sith Lord! Or worse... a Trekie!

Really, congratulations- I hope that morning sickness goes away, like everyone else said. As a third child, I have to tell you in advance- this one's automatically the best.

Yes, and then he'd also be named after our favorite portly general!

Oh, wait, I think I just killed that name.

Congrats again, Face! Clearly, little one has to hang on an extra 13 days and be born on my birthday!

Sorry Cali, but if the little guy is 10 days late, they'll get induced!

My first thought was a thermal detonator :D

You probably won't be able to see him after a few more days or so - don't worry, he's just activated a cloaking device to protect his Wraith identity. And yes, I'm calling it now that he is a He. Any gamblers out there want to take that bet?

You're not just saying that to be contrarian? I mean, you can actually see something in that rorschach resembling the silhouette of something blasteresque? It looks like a Hoth snowstorm, I can't make heads or tails of it ;)

**edit**
Can I recommend Faceling as a temporary (or not..) name until more details are known?

Anyway, now that I've read all the comments, I'll offer my own congratulatory remarks.

Congratulations, Face and Cathy! How totally exciting!

And not to sound repetitive, but I hope the morning sickness subsides soon. Shouldn't be too long now. :-)

Well, in case you wanted to see them... Here are the pics!

It’s certainly belongs to Cathy and I! It was kicking all over the place until Cathy lay down for the scan, then it went really still, and started hiding! When it WAS caught, it slung its little hand over its face in an overly dramatic fashion! (as you can see in Picture 1!). Picture 2 is a close up of its face. We just missed the little thing poking its tongue out!

Feet were also kept firmly crossed, so even if we wanted to know the sex, it was making it as awkward as possible! Still we saw the heart beating, and everything is progressing normally, which is always a relief!

Heh-congrats again, Face. Five bucks says that the little 'un's gonna be a handful when he or she finally enters the world, though.
