...that another one bites the dust from the bachelors club.

Tom proposed on the balcony of our stateroom during our week long cruise of the Western Caribbean cruise! :D Obviously, I accepted.

No date set (tentatively sometime next summer). Its going to be a long engagement so I can get through school, and likely a small family affair, but I wanted y'all to be among the first to share the happy news with!

And because I know it'll be asked - I used the stock ring image because my camera stunk - it was from an Irish jeweler and the perfect size. He read my mind. :D

Indeed. Congrats! Our little Reddikins is all growned up. Really pretty ring too!

Someone should check the stats... if we put "married" and "engaged" in the same category, do we outnumber the bachelors yet?

<sniff> They all get growed up so fast.

Congrats, Red!!! :D Very LoTR-esque ring, too.

Taking only the active members, Face, the tally of Noble Bachelors to engage/married is:
11 Freemen
9 Slaves

I did not think it was very LOTR-esque, but then I shun that fandom.

...Although I am excited and happy for Red and for Shadow and Gav, I am glad that the 'singles' still outnumber the engaged/marrieds.

Heh, thank you all - the ring is Irish , so I suppose that makes it a bit LoTR in a way?

Maybe, maybe not, but its most certainly 'Red!'

Congrats Red! We're going to have to start recruiting again just to keep the numbers at their proper ratios... it'd be weird if there were more people who were married on this board then single considering I joined back when I was a freshmen in high school...

Awwwww, congrats Red, all the best for the both of you.

And that ring is stunning.

And I suddenly feel all lonely

Don't feel lonely Deven... you are just keeping your options open.
