So, as you all may be aware, for a little over a year now I've been writing my own compositions for guitar and voice. Back in July I wrote my first "funny" song and performed it at my fraternity's recital last fall.

Since then, I've written quite a few more and took my two best that people hadn't yet heard on campus and performed them the other week for my fraternity's spring recital.

My dad happened to be in the audience this last time and stealthily brought his camcorder along despite knowing how much I hate it. Well, it turned out to be a good thing because he posted my two songs to YouTube for all to see.

Some of you have seen these videos posted on Facebook already, but I wanted to show them to all of you here.

This will also help explain why I haven't been around for the last couple of months :wink:

Very enjoyable! Next you'll need to get recordings made from a mic that's closer to you than the folks doing the laughing. ;) But the songs were fun; good stuff!
